2021 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl

Mark your calendars! R+L Carriers is heading back to The Big Easy!

The 2021 edition of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl is set to again feature Sun Belt and Conference USA teams on Saturday, December 18. Kickoff is set for 9:15 p.m. EST at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. ESPN will televise the game and it will be broadcasted on ESPN Radio.

2020 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Recap

Last year, the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl featured Georgia Southern out of the Sun Belt and Louisiana Tech from Conference USA. Georgia Southern defeated Louisiana Tech by the score of 38-3. The Eagles victory put an end to their opponents’ attempt to repeat the Bulldog’s 2015 success at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

About R+L Carriers

For 19 consecutive years, R+L Carriers sponsored the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, held annually in New Orleans, Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina devastated The Big Easy in 2005, R+L Carriers was eager to support rebuilding the surrounding community. From 2006 to 2024, one representative from the Sun Belt Conference and another out of Conference USA met on the field in New Orleans.
