The results of our week three Game of the Week are in! The University of Southern Alabama Jaguars and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers took the game down to the wire. The Hilltoppers won the voting, but the Jaguars were the ones to come away with the win. With little more than 2 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, the Jaguars snagged an interception and returned the ball to the 1 yard line. That touchdown closed the game at 31-24, moving USA to 2-1 and dropping Western Kentucky to 1-2 after their Sun Belt Conference opener in Alabama.
This weekend was big for the Sun Belt conference. Arkansas State beat conference rival Troy State, Louisiana State Monroe bested Wake Forest and Louisiana State Lafayette found their first win over Nicholls State.
