R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 9PM EST

Laissez les bon temps rouler! R+L Carriers is heading back to NOLA!

The 2019 edition of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl is set to again feature Sun Belt and Conference USA teams on Saturday, December 21. Kickoff is set for 9:00 p.m EST at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. ESPN will televise the game and it will be broadcasted on ESPN Radio.

Appalachian State
Appalachian State defeated Middle Tennessee State by the score of 45-13 in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl last year.

2018 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Recap

Last year, the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl featured the Appalachian State Mountaineers out of the Sun Belt and Middle Tennessee State out of Conference USA. Appalachian State defeated Middle Tennessee State by the score of 45-13. Appalachian State quarterback Zac Thomas passed for 177 yards and 2 TDs while running back Darrynton Evans rushed for 108 yards. Zac Thomas was also named the game MVP.
