After the game, ULL Coach Mark Hudspeth was presented with the New Orleans Bowl trophy, and ULL Quarterback Terrance Broadway was awarded the Most Valuable Player award. The sophomore quarterback was 21 of 32 passing for 316 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. If that was not enough, he also rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown to those impressive stats.
Before the game, the crowd was treated to performances from the marching bands, cheerleaders, and dance teams from both schools. These student athletes play a big role in creating the exciting atmosphere that we all love about college football.
Thanks to both schools for being a part of the 2012 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Until next year — Let the Good Times Bowl!
