We’re proud of both college football teams for taking the time out of their very busy schedule this week to brighten the day of some very sick children at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Players and coaches from the ECU Pirates and ULL Ragin’ Cajuns brought gifts, played games, visited and had a great time. From the looks on the children’s faces we could tell they had a great time too.
The Ochsner Foundation Hospital has a fantastic game and craft room in their pediatric unit, which is where we caught up with the teams. There, the children can play video games, shoot pool, play computer games, play basketball and in the craft room they can color, make holiday crafts, watch television and visit and play together.
After their visit here, the teams headed to more practice sessions and are gearing up for their players luncheon tomorrow with keynote speaker Warren Moon. Stay tuned for that!
