Let the good times bowl! R+L Carriers is headed back to New Orleans, Louisiana!
The 20th R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl kicks off Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at 2 p.m. (CST) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Officials from the New Orleans Bowl and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation made the official announcement Friday, Oct. 30.
Featuring teams from the Sun Belt Conference and Conference USA, the game will be televised on the ESPN family of networks and broadcast on ESPN Radio.
2019 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Recap
Last season, the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl featured the Appalachian State University Mountaineers and the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers. The Mountaineers defeated the Blazers 31-17 to earn back-to-back titles. Appalachian State running back Darrynton Evans rushed for 157 yards, including one touchdown, to earn NOB Most Valuable Player.
