2024 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Date and Time Announced

The stage is set; we’re heading back to The Big Easy!

Thursday, December 19, the 2024 edition of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will pit one team from the Sun Belt Conference against a challenger from Conference USA. Tune in 6pm Central Time, 7pm Eastern to watch the game live on ESPN. The game will be held in the heart of New Orleans at Caesars Superdome.

Last year’s victory for the Gamecocks also marked the first R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl win for Head Coach Rich Rodriguez.

2023 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Recap

In last year’s matchup, the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks triumphed in an overtime match, 34-31 against the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns. Jax State’s win was the team’s first at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl as well as their inaugural appearance at the game.
