It’s 2023 and we’re raring to return to The Big Easy!

The 2023 edition of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl is set for Saturday, December 16 at 1:15pm Central Time, 2:15pm Eastern. We’re eager to watch top talent from the Sun Belt Conference take on a challenger from Conference USA. Viewers can watch the Battle in the Bayou at Caesars Superdome or live on ESPN.

After a well-played game, the Hilltoppers were crowned the 2022 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl champions!

Last year, the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers secured the win 44-23 against the University of South Alabama Jaguars. Hilltoppers’ quarterback Austin Reed set an R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl single-game record for passing yards at 497, dethroning the previous 470 record that dates back to 2011.
